At 19:00 hours Tepoztlan Ilhuicalli Auditorium held the closing ceremony and awards.

Edith Lara, Coordinator of Tepoztlan welcomed the 2nd Festival of memory and presented to the Youth Orchestra of Tepoztlan who played the musical piece perteneiciente to the soundtrack of Lord of the Rings.

Actors Daniel Martínez Verónica Merchant and rose to the podium and conducted a review of the 2nd Festival of memory and the characteristics of the site, the magical village: Tepoztlan. WINNERS PRIZE

ZAPATA

ZAPATA Award for Best Investigative went to Argentine film July 4, the slaughter of San Patricio, Pablo Hernán Zubizarreta and John Paul Young.

The Honourable Mention for Best Investigative was for co-production Mexico - Guatemala - Germany Assault sleep, Uli Stelzner.

ZAPATA Award for BEST EDITING was for the English documentary Lucio, Aitor Arregui and Jose Maria Goenaga.

received an Honourable Mention for BEST EDITING , the English documentary Madrid, the shadow of a dream , Alejandro Andrade and Mexican documentary photographer Hector Garcia, Carlos Rodrigo Montes de Oca.

ZAPATA Award for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY was for the English documentary La Serenissima , Gonzalo Ballester.

The Honourable Mention for BEST PHOTOGRAPHY went to Mexican documentary 13 villages, in defense of land, water and air, Francesco Taboada.

ZAPATA The award for best documentary category ART was for the English documentary The poet's place of David del Águila.

With two honorable mentions for best documentary category ART , for English documentary La Serenissima , Gonzalo Ballester, and the Mexican documentary Hector Garcia, Photographer, Charles R. Montes de Oca.

ZAPATA The award for best documentary category SCIENCE AND ECOLOGY went to Mexican documentary Voices of Chichinautzin , Patricia Sims and production of Luis Patron.

received an Honourable Mention for the best documentary category SCIENCE AND ECOLOGY, Peruvian documentary Tambogrande, Ernesto Hair and Mexican documentary Antarctic Strait de magallanes , de Mauricio Mendoza.

El premio ZAPATA para el mejor documental de la categoría IDENTIDADES fue para el documental español Yanny Levkoff , de Luis Alaejos y Raúl D. Alaejos.

La Mención Honorífica para el mejor documental de la categoría IDENTIDADES fue para el documental peruano Alguna Tristeza , de Juan Alejandro Ramírez.

PREMIO JULIO PLIEGO

El premio JULIO PLIEGO en manos de Manuel Villanueva en ausencia de Ernesto Velázquez Director de TV UNAM, y Matthew Pliego, son of the documentary who are humbled by this award, was for the best documentary category MEMORY AND DEFAULT the Mexican documentary, Tracing Aleida , Christiane Burkhard.

The Honorable Mention in this category, was for the Brazilian documentary Feast Day of Toni Venturi and Pablo Georgieff.


SIGNIS AWARD

SIGNIS Award which awarded the World Catholic Association for Communication, was presented by Blanca Estela Monzón, representative of the group, and was awarded the Mexican documentary, Tracing Aleida , Christiane Burkhard.

The Honorable Mention went to the Brazilian documentary Feast Day of Toni Venturi and Pablo Georgieff. AWARD

Chinel

Awarded by the voting public, the Chinel AWARD went to Mexican documentary My Life Inside, Lucia Gaja. DOCUMENTARY CHALLENGE


The award DOCUMENTARY CHALLENGE , short film during the festival in 100 hours was given for those who cry night, Mario Gomez and his team, the Rector of the UAEM, Dr. Fernando Bilbao.
